Meet Loretta

Loretta Shacklett is the founder of Trinity Dementia Training LLC and Simplify Senior Living LLC, and she has always had a passion for serving seniors, especially those living with Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia. Throughout her journey working in the senior care space, she quickly discovered that one of the most powerful tools we have in providing compassionate, quality care is education and training.

After witnessing firsthand the challenges that caregivers, families, and healthcare professionals face, she realized that proper training isn’t just helpful, it’s essential. That realization, paired with her heartfelt connection to her community, made starting a dementia training company a natural next step for Loretta.

At the core of everything she does is a strong belief: education, training, kindness, and compassion are the cornerstones of high-quality dementia care. The mission of Trinity Dementia Training is to empower those who care for individuals with dementia—helping them feel more confident, prepared, and supported in their roles—and, in turn, improve the lives of those living with dementia.

Whether you’re a professional caregiver, a healthcare organization, or a family member navigating the complexities of dementia, Loretta is here to guide, teach, and walk alongside you every step of the way.

There is hope for those living with dementia…
